Am I wrong for loudly cheering at my son's baseball game? Over the weekend I was at my son's baseball tournament. Myself and other parents from our team had canopies set up to keep the sun off of us and to give the kids a shady spot to rest between games. Next to my canopy was a family from another team competing in the same tournament. This family had brought an infant child along. I get excited at games and loudly cheer. It's worth noting I don't yell out to the other teams, only make positive

Dogs Dogs More Dogs ❤ @Dogs DogsMore Dog Replying to @ask_aubry Follow How did the mother expect a sporting event to be quiet enough for her baby to have a nap? Has she never attended before? You can't have a baby and then expect everyone around you to cater to that fact

Phoenix+ @InTheShadows222 Replying to @ask_aubry Follow Don't bring infants to sporting events if you are worried about them being woken by noise.

@SevereSociety. @SevereSociety Replying to @ask_aubry Follow Mom is 100% TA. If she insists on inappropriately bringing a baby, he should have noise canceling earphones. Loud noises aren't good for them.

Dave TC @DaveTC15.08 Jul Replying to @ask_aubry Ok kids, Billy's mom brought the baby, so we need to hit the ball softly and tiptoe around the bases so we don't wake the baby up.

Danielle Moyer @danielle_dmo . 08 Jul Replying to @ask_aubry Would not have stopped me. I'm the same way - cheering and encouraging both teams. You cannot expect others in a public space to accommodate you as if you were at home. That's unreasonable.

Sarah Koenig @smkoenig1998 • 08 Jul Replying to @ask_aubry 12 year softball Mom here - and had an infant/toddler during part of that time - NTA AT ALL. Never would have dreamed to say something like that to anyone, my hollering would have been more likely to wake our son up than anyone else though.

Jett (leftist mongrel) @Somethingfyshie Replying to @ask_aubry Follow I wonder if she's as critical of herself when her baby starts screaming in a public place like the grocery store, as babies tend to do.

Rizzney Princess @KillerQueenKath Follow Listen I am ALL FOR babies and kids in public spaces (aside from adult oriented ones) but also, you can't take a baby to a sporting event and be surprised that it's loud Imao
